Interactive Swarm Nests 1.0 for Milan Triennale X 2016

Thanks to the invitation of Milan Polytechnic University that we are able to participate in the Milan Triennale X 2016 exhibition

The design concept is from the toy of Guoguo Cage that are often sold in Chinese cities. By keeping a small noisy insect inside the bamboo cage, the toy creates a vivid nostalgia for the bucolic country life for the residence of the city.It is a interative installation made of typical Guoguo cage and customized electronics, which brings the vivid nostalgia of traditional Beijing life via sound, representation and interaction.
